Established in 1997, the journal publishes a range of outstanding articles, including original research reports, reviews, mini-reviews, short communications, and editorials. This journal aims to contribute to providing a comprehensive understanding of the functions and mechanisms of actions of the cells and major systems of the human body, and of the effects and mode of action of chemicals, which modify the major systems of the body, and treat disorders. As the borders between physiology, pharmacology and other basic medical sciences become increasingly blurred, the Journal welcomes submissions on all aspects of life sciences mainly including physiology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, biochemistry, pathology, anatomical sciences, genetics, immunology, and spanning to multidisciplinary studies.
