What we don't do

We don't promise acceptance, we don't present missing data as a firm conclusion, and we don't pass off model-generated text as journal facts.

Where the data comes from

CAS journal rankings, impact factors and community reports come from LetPub; research topics, annual article counts and APCs from OpenAlex; open-access status and fees from DOAJ; review times from article statistics use the manuscript dates registered with Crossref and PubMed; Aims & Scope, author guidelines and official review times come from publishers' websites. Every figure is tagged with its source and update time; see data methods and data sources.
