Obra digital (OD) con ISSN (online) 2014-5039, Revista de comunicación, estudios mediáticos y procesos sociales, es una revista internacional de comunicación y áreas afines, de acceso abierto con un sistema de revisión anónima por pares que se inspira en el código ético del Comité de Ética de Publicaciones. Especializada en comunicación, publica investigaciones en distintas áreas que incluyen, pero no se limitan a: TIC, audiencias, nuevos lenguajes, comunicación digital, comunicaciones aplicadas, relaciones públicas, comunicación organizacional, comunicación política, comunicación y educación, diseño, marketing y publicidad, redes sociales y videojuegos, audiovisuaes y monográficos especializados en temas de máxima actualidad. El objetivo de Obra Digital es difundir en la comunidad científica internacional los resultados de rigurosas investigaciones que permitan el desarrollo de la ciencia y sirvan de consulta para científicos/as, estudiantes y profesionales. Actualmente publica sus artículos originales en español o inglés y abstracts y palabras clave de todos sus artículos en español e inglés. Desde septiembre 2019, todos los artículos cuyo idioma original es español, se publican también en inglés. Decidida vocación internacional en sus temáticas, lectores/as y autores/as. Presencia en bases de datos internacionales, plataformas de evaluación de revistas, directorios selectivos, portales especializados y catálogos hemerográficos. Riguroso y transparente sistema ciego de evaluación de manuscritos, consejo científico Internacional y red pública de revisores/as científicos/as de todo el mundo. Gestión profesional de manuscritos a través de la Plataforma OJS 3, con compromisos éticos de transparencia y puntualidad, sistemas antiplagio (CrossCheck y Urkund). Nivel de visibilización con sistemas de búsqueda, DOIs, ORCID, pdfs dinámicos. Con conexión a redes sociales. Formato digital accesible a texto completo, de forma gratuita, para toda la comunidad científica e investigadores de todo el mundo. Editada por la Universidad de Vic-Universidad Central de Cataluña y la Universidad del Azuay, quienes colaboran con múltiples centros y Universidades internacionales.
