GAYANA BOTANICA, dedicated to the French naturalist Claude Gay, is a journal for the publication of original research in all areas of the biology of plants and fungi. GAYANA BOTANICA is a scientific Open Access Journal published by Universidad de Concepción, and is the official organ of the Botanical Society of Chile. Copyright For all articles published in GAYANA BOTANICA, copyright is retained by the authors. The authors grant Gayana Botanica the permission to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
