Foco e Escopo A revista Educação & Formação, vinculada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Estadual do Ceará, publica artigos originais resultantes de pesquisas acadêmicas e revisões sistemáticas da literatura. Possui a missão de promover o intercâmbio e os debates no campo educacional nacional e internacional na área da Educação, com foco no campo de formação de alunos e professores em contextos de educação formal. O público-alvo a que se destina a Revista Educação & Formação são pesquisadores da área da educação, professores da educação básica e superior, pós-graduandos e demais profissionais interessados nos referidos temas. A revista Educação & Formação é editada bilingue, em versão online, e recebe submissões em fluxo contínuo, nos idiomas português, inglês, espanhol e francês. A revista exige o grau mínimo de doutor para autores interessados na submissão de artigos. No caso de autoria coletiva, pelo menos um dos autores deve possuir tal titulação. OBS: a revista Educação & Formação não publica artigo de um(a) mesmo(a) autor(a) com intervalo menor que um ano, ou seja, os autores só poderão submeter artigos após um ano da última publicação. Para autores vinculados à UECE, esse intervalo é maior, ou seja, só poderão submeter artigos após três anos da última publicação. Processo e critérios de Avaliação por Pares dos Artigos e Arbitragem Os artigos recebidos serão apreciados inicialmente pela Comissão Editorial, que realiza uma triagem inicial, averiguando adequação às normas e ao foco e escopo. Os textos que estiverem de acordo com as normas e foco da revista Educação & Formação serão encaminhados para pesquisadores doutores de diferentes instituições de ensino e pesquisa, preferencialmente vinculados ao programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, pareceristas ad hoc, em função da competência no tema/assunto do artigo avaliado, garantindo o processo de avaliação duplo-anonimato. Todavia, a Revista também faz avaliação aberta no caso de solicitação dos autores. O parecerista, que será impreterivelmente de instituição diferente do(s) autor(es) da submissão, declara a inexistência de conflito de interesse e a disponibilidade ou não para realizar a avaliação; no caso de declínio outro avaliador é adicionado para o exercício da tarefa avaliativa. Para o aceite final do artigo será necessário dupla aprovação, logo, no caso de desacordo no duplo-anonimato, encaminha-se a submissão a um terceiro avaliador ad hoc para o devido desempate. Após ess
