La protección de los menores y el reconocimiento de sus derechos constituyen el eje central de la Revista sobre la Infancia y la Adolescencia. En este sentido, la Revista se presenta como un foro permanente de discusión y reflexión, en el que se dan cita profesionales e investigadores, tanto de España como del resto del mundo, que trabajan con menores o constituyen su objeto de estudio, respectivamente. Desde un plano teórico, la Revista centrará su atención en el estudio y análisis comparado de la normativa y la jurisprudencia, tanto internacional como de los diferentes Estados, relativas a la protección y al reconocimiento de los derechos de los menores. Desde el ámbito empírico, se publicarán trabajos de las diferentes disciplinas del conocimiento que abordan la intervención preventiva, asistencial y rehabilitadora con menores (trabajo social, psicología, educación social, entre otras).
