La Revista Enfoques Educacionales es una revista científica de acceso abierto, con periodicidad semestral, publicando 2 fascículos al año en enero y julio, desde 1998. Es editada por el Departamento de Educación de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Chile. Difunde tanto los resultados obtenidos en investigaciones científicas y tecnológicas en el área de las Ciencias Sociales y la Educación, como las perspectivas y discusiones del conocimiento especializado en ellas. Los principales tópicos incluidos en este órgano de difusión corresponden a la educación en todos sus niveles y campos de implicancia. Se da preferencia a aquellos trabajos realizados en Chile y América Latina. Los artículos e investigaciones pueden ser publicados en idioma español, portugués e inglés. El propósito de la revista descansa en apoyar, promover y difundir la información especializada y el conocimiento científico que se produce especialmente en América Latina, por medio de la publicación de artículos originales a texto completo y con acceso gratuito. Así, nos levantamos y constituimos como un lugar de valoración, visibilización y acceso a la producción del quehacer científico educativo y social, desde los contextos de los países de nuestra región. Bajo el principio de que el conocimiento debe estar disponible en el espacio público apoyando las discusiones e intercambios de ideas en la sociedad contemporánea, es que usamos, desde 2022, la actualización de la licencia Creative Commons en su versión CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0.
