Breve Histórico Psicologia Escolar e Educacional é um periódico publicado pela Associação Brasileira de Psicologia Escolar e Educacional - ABRAPEE, cujos manuscritos devem seguir os princípios democráticos e ético-políticos da ciência e da profissão em Psicologia, de forma a incentivar a melhoria da qualificação e serviços das/os psicólogas/os escolares e educacionais e a estimular a realização e a divulgação de estudos científicos na interface entre Psicologia e Educação. A abreviatura de seu título é Psicol. Esc. Educ., que deve ser usada em bibliografias, notas de rodapé e em referências e legendas bibliográficas. Conformidade com a Ciência Aberta Este periódico segue o modelo Gold Open Access e está buscando alinhar-se aos requisitos do modus operandi de ciência aberta. O movimento Ciência Aberta (Open Science) propõe diretrizes para a prática científica compartilhada, colaborativa e pública. Psicologia Escolar e Educacional aceita avaliar manuscritos depositados exclusivamente no servidor SciELO Preprints; requer a citação, referenciamento e declaração dos dados de pesquisas e promove peer review informado desde que avaliadoras(es) e autoras(es) estejam de acordo. No momento da submissão, as(os) autoras(es) devem preencher e anexar o Formulário sobre Conformidade com a Ciência Aberta, informando: (a) se o manuscrito é um preprint e, em caso positivo, sua localização; (b) se dados e outros materiais subjacentes ao texto do manuscrito estão devidamente citados e referenciados; e (c) se aceitam opções de abertura no processo de avaliação por pares. Ética na Publicação A Psicologia Escolar e Educacional busca cumprir o compromisso com as boas práticas em pesquisa relativas à editoração científica de periódicos e apoia as recomendações de ética em publicação para autoras/es, editoras/es e avaliadoras/es do Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE. As/Os autoras/es devem observar a Resolução CNS nº 674/2022, quanto à necessidade ou não de apreciação pelo Sistema CEP/Conep. Estudos que envolvam direta ou indiretamente seres humanos e não se enquadrem nas situações de dispensa previstas no art. 26 da supracitada Resolução precisam informar no manuscrito o número do protocolo e a data da aprovação por Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa.
