El objetivo principal de MLS Educational Research (MLSER) es difundir obras inéditas relacionadas con la práctica educativa, la innovación pedagógica y la investigación en general, siempre y cuando sigan criterios metodológicos claros según la naturaleza de los hechos objetivos del estudio. Asimismo, acepta artículos de revisión o componente metodológico marcado. Los estudios publicados en MLS Educational Research van dirigidos a investigadores y profesionales interesados en estudiar y mejorar la calidad educativa en los diferentes contextos donde se desarrolla, adoptando una perspectiva de cambio e innovación. Desde su creación, la revista tiene un marcado carácter iberoamericano e internacional, por lo que puede ser utilizada para su publicación en cualquier país de origen, siempre que éstos cumplan con las diferentes fases de la investigación con rigor metodológico. Constituye, por lo tanto, un medio de difusión del conocimiento derivado de diferentes entornos socioculturales. MLS Educational Research publica trabajos en el idioma castellano, portugués e inglés, y se edita totalmente en el último idioma, manteniendo también una edición en el idioma original del manuscrito. Su estructura organizativa se compone de académicos e investigadores, principales conocedores de las temáticas y estudios más actuales en la educación y la sociedad.
