Mind, Culture, and Activity (MCA) is an international journal for peer-reviewed articles that examines the genesis, relationships, and co-constitution of mind and culture in a variety of human activities. MCA is interested in research studying these processes in social, historical, economic, and political contexts, and through the lens of power and privilege. We consider studies along the axes of race, class, gender, ethnicity, and dis/ability as well as issues of praxis and development. We emphasize research that takes a critical stance towards these questions with regard to inclusion and justice, and in connection with activist agendas and social movements. MCA aligns with the goals of liberatory epistemologies to reimagine approaches that challenge oppression. We aim to facilitate inclusive, transformative, sustainable, and utopian social experiments. MCA seeks to promote dialogue among schools of thought and encourage interdisciplinary submissions. Authors and readers are principally located in psychology, education, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, critical race and gender studies, queer studies, technology studies, critical geography, media studies, communication, and linguistics. We encourage submissions from underrepresented geographies and communities and early career scholars. We encourage submissions that present empirical and theoretical studies, syntheses of theoretical and empirical research, commentaries responding to articles published in MCA, and creative works. We publish book reviews commissioned by the editors, and shorter book notes. MCA welcomes articles utilizing qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research. All submissions go through an anonymous review process. Authors are required to submit an electronic file to Manuscript Central at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/mca. Please see Instructions for Authors on the MCA website for further details. Before submitting your paper, please read Instructions for Authors which discusses peer review and other matters authors should be aware of. The Editorial Collective of Mind, Culture, and Activity also manages Cultural Praxis (https://culturalpraxis.net/). Cultural Praxis is an online community forum that promotes multi-voiced dialogue on the impacts of social, economic, and racial injustice, and the increasing impacts of environmental devastation. Cultural Praxis hosts dialogues and additional materials related to MCA articles. Cultural Praxis is suitable for work that could b
