JAOS’s mission is to disseminate scientific and technological advances made by the dental and speech and hearing communities, respecting quality indicators in order to ensure their acceptability to researchers in the field. Its main objective is to publish the results of original research in the field of oral sciences, with an emphasis on dentistry, speech therapy and related areas. Submissions of case reports (including case series and clinical protocols) and short communications are not accepted by JAOS and review manuscripts (including systematic reviews) can only be sent at the invitation of the editor.
