IJIE (Indonesian Journal of Informatics Education) is an international peer-reviewed journal advancing research on how informatics is learned, taught, assessed, designed, and experienced across educational contexts. IJIE uses informatics broadly to encompass computer science, computing, data, algorithms, programming, information systems, artificial intelligence, computational thinking, cybersecurity, networks, and related digital disciplines when these are investigated as objects of learning, teaching, curriculum, assessment, participation, or professional development. The journal particularly seeks research that generates transferable knowledge about the educational dimensions of informatics rather than merely demonstrating the application of a technology. Editorial Selection criteria Manuscripts considered for peer review must: fall clearly within informatics education, rather than educational technology generally;articulate a meaningful educational problem or research question;engage substantively with current international informatics-education literature;identify the informatics concepts, practices, competencies, learners, educators, or educational systems under investigation;employ methods appropriate to the research questions and provide sufficient methodological transparency;demonstrate analytical depth rather than merely reporting descriptive results or user satisfaction;explain the theoretical, empirical, methodological, or pedagogical contribution to informatics education;draw implications that are proportionate to the evidence and, where appropriate, extend beyond the immediate study context;comply with recognised principles of research and publication ethics;be clearly written in English and comply with IJIE author guidelines; andrepresent original work that is not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts may be declined during editorial screening when their primary contribution concerns general educational technology, technical system development, generic technology adoption, institutional information systems, or disciplinary education outside informatics without a substantive informatics-education research contribution. IJIE (Indonesian Journal of Informatics Education) welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, design-based, computational, and evidence-synthesis approaches. Research quality is judged according to the appropriateness of the methodology for the research question rather than preference for a particular methodological
