CONTEXTORevista orientada al estudio y análisis de aspectos relacionados con la gestión del conocimiento y la tecnología en las organizaciones. Alcance de la revista La revista Gecontec supone un foro de discusión, desde perspectivas empíricas, metodológicas, teóricas y aplicadas, llevadas a cabo por expertos internacionales del área de gestión del conocimiento y la tecnología aplicadas a las organizaciones. Su enfoque se centra tanto en organizaciones públicas como privadas y su impacto en la gestión y la sociedad. La revista publica artículos empíricos, teóricos y analíticos de alta calidad científica, que contribuyen al avance en su comprensión y entendimiento. De particular interés de la revista son los estudios que permitan una mejora en la generación y gestión del conocimiento y la tecnología, así como su contribución al incremento de la eficiencia y eficacia en la organización. La revista se publica principalmente en español, siguiendo el estándar internacional de revisores anónimos mediante un proceso de revisión ciega, contando cada manuscrito con un mínimo de dos revisores. Todos los manuscritos son sometidos al análisis previo del editor. Los trabajos sometidos a revisión deberán ser originales, no publicados anteriormente y que no se encuentren en revisión en ninguna otra publicación. La revista está dirigida a académicos, estudiantes de posgrado y profesionales interesados en la gestión del conocimiento y la tecnología aplicados a la organización. Tipo de contribuciones La revista publica diversos temas de interés: artículos que proporcionan información, experiencia y saber hacer; estudios generales; estudios de caso; investigaciones empíricas; informes sobre avances en teoría y práctica; informes sobre avances en técnicas y aplicaciones; puntos de vista de profesionales de probada experiencia. Periodicidad En la actualidad, Gecontec publica con publicación contínua en dos números al año (Enero-Junio y Julio-Diciembre). Ello permite poner los artículos a disposición de los lectores una vez han sido aceptados para publicar. Gecontec también publica números especiales en colaboración con entidades científicas internacionales. Politica de archivado y contra el fraude Gecontec mantiene un archivado digital de la revista y lo hace disponible a través de OpenAire-Zenodo. Gecontec combate activamente el plagio y las prácticas fraudulentas. Para ello todo artículo publicado en la revista ha sido sometido a pruebas con software antiplagio con ithentica
