EDUCAR es una revista científica de acceso abierto, publicada por el Departamento de Pedagogía Aplicada de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (España) fundada en 1982. El objetivo de la Revista es difundir los resultados de la investigación educativa con el fin de promover y compartirlos entre la comunidad científica, los profesionales y académicos, así como el público especializado en temáticas pedagógicas. EDUCAR publica artículos inéditos de investigación aplicada (de metodología cuantitativa y/o cualitativa) y revisiones fundamentadas teóricamente poniendo el foco en temas actuales de naturaleza educativa y desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar en catalán, inglés y castellano. La publicación es semestral (enero y julio) y se estructura en las siguientes secciones: Monográfico y Temas de investigación. La sección Monográfico incluye trabajos especializados sobre la temática escogida en cada número. Las personas interesadas en proponer y coordinar un número monográfico tendrán que presentar la propuesta siguiendo las indicaciones que encontrarán en la sección “Envíos”. La propuesta será sometida a la consideración del Comité Editorial de la Revista quien tomará la decisión de considerar o no las propuestas de monográfico sometidas a evaluación. Igualmente, debe considerarse que la decisión final de aceptar un artículo propuesto para la sección de monográfico es de la dirección y secretaría de la Revista y no de la coordinación del monográfico. La sección Temas de investigación recoge trabajos en el campo de la educación, vinculados a temáticas de interés no necesariamente vinculadas a la temática del monográfico. Las personas interesadas en publicar en la Revista EDUCAR deben considerar además que: Cada persona autora o coautora sólo podrá tener un envío activo. Una misma persona autora sólo podrá publicar un artículo por volumen. Se publican como máximo dos artículos de validación de instrumentos por volumen. Se publican como máximo dos artículos de revisión fundamentados teóricamente por volumen. Finalmente, la Revista EDUCAR mantiene una política de apoyo e intercambio con otras revistas científicas del área de conocimiento de Ciencias de la Educación y colabora en el blog Aula Magna 2.0, espacio de encuentro y colaboración entre editores y equipos editoriales de revistas científicas de educación vinculadas a universidades, instituciones o asociaciones, fundamentalmente del territorio español.
