Educación XX1 es una publicación científica editada por la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia. Desde su inicio, en 1998, Educación XX1 viene contribuyendo a la difusión de la investigación educativa, publicando investigaciones, ensayos y experiencias innovadoras contrastadas en todos los campos y contextos de intervención educativa. A lo largo de estos últimos años, Educación XX1 ha centrado su atención de forma prioritaria en la investigación sobre la educación superior y en las propuestas innovadoras que se están desarrollando en la universidad. En cualquier caso, lo anterior no excluye que se puedan publicar otros trabajos científicos de temática multidisciplinar que supongan una contribución significativa al campo de la educación. Todos los artículos deben reunir los siguientes requisitos: Contribuir al corpus científico de la educación con una aportación actual e innovadora. Ser coherente con la línea editorial marcada por el Equipo Editorial. Constituir una colaboración original en su totalidad, es decir, no publicada previamente ni total ni parcialmente en ningún soporte. Adecuarse a los criterios de calidad metodológica propios de la investigación científica. Estar científicamente fundamentado y gozar de unidad interna. Presentar una correcta expresión escrita en español e inglés. Ajustarse a las normas de publicación de esta revista. Con carácter general, no se considerarán prioritarios para su publicación en la revista Educación XX1: Trabajos cuyas conclusiones no tengan trascendencia internacional. Investigaciones basadas en muestras pequeñas o incidentales y estudios meramente descriptivos o exploratorios, salvo que constituyan una aportación significativa e innovadora al campo de la educación. Artículos centrados exclusivamente en el proceso de diseño y validación de instrumentos, excepto si los resultados derivados de la aplicación de esos instrumentos permiten dar respuesta a cuestiones de interés educativo. Investigaciones que no contribuyan al corpus científico de la educación con una aportación actual e innovadora, aunque la población objeto de estudio la constituyan estudiantes, profesores o cualquier otro miembro de la comunidad educativa. Aportaciones que no estén suficientemente fundamentadas a partir de una profunda revisión de la literatura. Intervenciones o experiencias innovadoras, cuya eficacia se haya evaluado solo durante un curso académico o a partir de diseños de evaluación poco riguroso
