Ecological Solutions and Evidence is an open access journal publishing articles with direct relevance biodiversity, ecosystem, and species management and practical solutions to conservation, ecological, and environmental problems. We welcome articles from across the full life span of a project, from research protocols and data articles to short reports, case studies and original research articles and reviews. Articles should clearly highlight problems and communicate key findings and observations that help contribute to solutions. We encourage all major themes in applied ecology, across scales (local to global) and across ecological research, practical management and policy. Major themes include conservation biology, global change, environmental pollution, wildlife and habitat management, land use, aquatic resources, restoration ecology, and the management of pests, weeds and disease. The journal is at the centre of Applied Ecology Resources, an initiave by the British Ecological Society to help share and discover information on the management of biodiversity and the environment through permanent preservation. AER hosts multiple information types including journal articles and grey literature, and we encourage authors in Ecological Solutions and Evidence to archive any reports or technical documents connected with their journal article in AER for long-term preservation and discovery.
