Digest Journal of Nanomaterials and Biostructures (DJNB) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing fundamental and applied research that focuses on, but is not limited to, nanomaterials (e.g., nanoparticles, nanofilms, nanocomposites, nanostructured surfaces, functional nanomaterials, nanoscale materials informatics, and other advanced nanomaterials) and materials derived from biostructures (e.g., materials derived from natural biomass, biopolymers, biominerals, and bioinspired hierarchical structures). Topics of interest cover the design, composition, structure, preparation, characterization, properties, and functional regulation of these materials, as well as their applications in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, healthcare, and energy. The journal also encourages interdisciplinary studies on structure-related biomaterials, including bioinspired nanomaterials, nanobiomaterials, nanomaterial–biomaterial interfaces, drug delivery materials, regenerative materials, and advanced functional materials for biomedical applications. Accepted article types include Original Research articles, Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Editorials, and Commentaries. DJNB provides a platform for knowledge exchange among researchers and engineering/technical professionals in materials science, nanoscience, biomaterials, chemistry, physics, engineering, and related interdisciplinary fields.
