La rivista scientifica Didattica della storia nasce come piattaforma digitale di approfondimento e diffusione delle ricerche e delle esperienze nell’ambito della didattica della storia, con particolare attenzione all’interdisciplinarità e all’integrazione di approcci metodologici differenti. Intende offrire un contributo significativo alla riflessione teorica e pratica sull'insegnamento e sulla comunicazione della conoscenza storica, promuovendo una visione aperta, critica e consapevole del passato. Accessibile gratuitamente, la rivista pubblica contributi scientifici nell'ambito della ricerca e delle esperienze di didattica della storia dedicati a tutte le epoche storiche in un’ottica che valorizza le connessioni con il medioevo, l’età moderna e contemporanea. La rivista accoglie studi relativi a fenomeni politico-istituzionali, economico-sociali, religiosi, culturali, militari, ambientali e di genere, integrando le dimensioni della metodologia storica, della storiografia, delle fonti e della didattica. L'attenzione è riservata anche ai temi del medievalismo, della memoria storica, della dimensione pubblica del sapere storico e alle modalità della sua comunicazione, comprese le ricadute delle nuove tecnologie digitali sulla disciplina. La rivista si rivolge a docenti, ricercatori, studenti, operatori culturali e a tutti coloro che sono interessati alla storia e alla sua trasmissione, configurandosi come uno spazio di confronto, aggiornamento e dialogo scientifico aperto e dinamico.
