It is a peer-reviewed academic journal which offers open-access articles discussing research in literary studies and Romance linguistics. Works in the former area apply to selected authors and genres, as well as particular cognitive problems which fits the history of ideas. Linguistic works focus on notions associated with various areas of linguistics: lexicology, paremiology, semantics, diasystemic linguistic diversity, and linguistic comparative studies. Its basic language is French. It is an annual affiliated with the Chair of Romance Philology, University of Lodz, and it is published by Lodz University Press.
