فراهم نمودن بستر مناسب و لازم برای انتشار نتایج تحقیقات محققین کشور در زمینه زعفران و حرکت به سوی شاخصهای بین المللی در پایگاه های داده است. اطلاعرسانی و نشر تازهترین نتایج پژوهشهای انجام شده و انتشار ایدههای تحقیقاتی برای اساتید، پژوهشگران و دانشجویان کمک به پیشرفت و گسترش دانش زعفران با تکیه به توسعه مرزهای دانش ارائه رهیافتهای علمی برای توسعه هر چه بیشتر صنعت زعفران ایحاد ارتباط بین تولید علم، انتشار مقاله، دستیابی به فناوریهای جدید و توسعه اقتصادی محصول زعفران ایجاد بستری برای تبادل افکار و اطلاعات در مجامع علمی کشور بهطور مشخص، زمینههای تحقیقاتی مورد توجه نشریه شامل موارد زیر است، لکن محدود به آنها نمیشود و تمامی یافتههای علمی پژوهشی در زمینه موضوعات مربوط به زعفران بررسی خواهند شد. 1- کشاورزی و علوم پایه 2- زیست فناوری، ژنتیک و اصلاح 3- پزشکی و داروسازی 4- فرآوری، صنایع غذایی و بیوشیمی 5- فیتوشیمیایی 6- اقتصاد و بازاریابی 7- سایر موضوعات مرتبط با زعفران
