Vitruvian Cogitationes - RVC (ISSN 2675-9616) é uma Revista do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação para a Ciência e a Matemática (PCM), da Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM), fundada em 2020, que busca divulgar a produção científica na área de conhecimento: Ensino de Ciências, dentro de uma perspectiva da inter e da transdisciplinaridade (Arte-Ciência, História e Epistemologia, Teorias de Aprendizagem e do Ensino, Conteúdos e Métodos, etc.). As cogitações ou pensamentos vitruvianos têm sua origem no De Architectura, de Marcus Vitruvius Pollio (Século I a.E.C.), que considera as medidas humanas como forma de olhar e medir a natureza. Sua releitura, por Leonardo da Vinci, em 1492, consolida esse espírito permanente do Renascimento em diante: interpretar o mundo segundo o olhar do conhecimento, do conjunto de suas teorias e da construção da ciência com todos seus paradigmas. A revista tem o desígnio de publicar artigos científicos oriundos de pesquisas relacionadas ao Ensino de Ciências, incluindo os processos de ensino e de aprendizagem nas áreas de Ciências, Biologia, Física, Matemática, Química e áreas afins. Portanto, a revista pretende colaborar com a divulgação de resultados de pesquisas dos diferentes níveis e modalidades de ensino, zelando pelo livre acesso aos artigos publicados sob seu domínio. Destina-se a pesquisadores, graduandos, pós-graduandos, professores da Educação Básica e Ensino Superior e público em geral com interesse na área de Ensino de Ciências.
