Метою «Вісника Львівського державного університету безпеки життєдіяльності» є забезпечення наукової спільноти актуальною інформацією про сучасний стан розв’язання наукових завдань у галузях, визначених тематичною спрямованістю видання. Ключовими завданнями наукового видання є: висвітлення актуальних результатів досліджень у кластері «Науки про Землю та навколишнє середовище» за спеціальністю E2 Екологія забезпечення наукової комунікації в межах тематичної спрямованості видання; надання професійного майданчика для наукових дискусій та обміну думками вітчизняних і зарубіжних учених; залучення молодих учених до реалізації дослідницьких програм у сучасних умовах розвитку науки; створення передумов для розширення наукової співпраці із закордонними закладами освіти та науковими установами; забезпечення дотримання редакційної етики та принципів академічної доброчесності.
