Науковий журнал «Вісник Київського національного університету культури і мистецтв. Серія: Сценічне мистецтво» розпочав свою історію у 2018 році та виходить у світ з періодичністю двічі на рік. Окрім оригінальних наукових досліджень, здійснених як в Україні, так і за кордоном, видання містить огляди, відгуки та рецензії на праці з теорії, історії і практики сценічного мистецтва. Статті публікуються двома мовами – англійською та українською. Журнал є важливим міжнародним форумом, що складається з досліджень актуальних проблем наукового обґрунтування й практичного втілення різних видів сценічного мистецтва. Це зібрання дискусій і гіпотез науково-теоретичного й творчо-педагогічного характеру. Теми та проблеми досліджень, порушені в статтях наукового журналу, є свідченням того, що історія сценічного мистецтва має важливе значення в сучасному світі, що мистецтвознавчим дослідженням потрібна методологія, а театральній критиці та педагогіці – інформаційне поле для дискусій.
