Providing priority to scientific, scientific and pedagogical staff of the University to publish the results of their own research in the form of scientific articles in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, to implement scientific developments into practical activities of law enforcement agencies. Promoting scientific support for the legislative process in Ukraine. Coverage of theoretical and practical problems of law and various aspects of law enforcement, in particular in the implementation of law enforcement activities. Generalization of experience in solving problems on combating crime, public safety and order guaranteeing. Promoting the implementation of science achievements into practice of state-building, increasing the level of educational process, stimulating the interest of scientific and pedagogical employees in the implementation of various forms of research work. Running scientific discussion on relevant issues of law enforcement activities on the pages of the edition. Informing scientific community about the results of the work of the specialized scientific councils operating at the University and about presenting dissertations by the employees of the University, about the conducted scientific events (conferences, scientific and practical seminars, round tables, etc.) and other indicators of the activity of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs of scientific orientation.
