El Instituto de lnvestigaciones en Administración (IIA) de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Sociales de la Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida - Venezuela, a través de su Sección de Investigación, presenta su revista científica, arbitrada e indizada, VISlÓN GERENCIAL, medio de difusión a través del cual se publican resultados de investigaciones realizadas en el Insituto y otras instituciones vinculadas al ámbito universitario, como contribución intelectual original que promueve la reflexión y exaltación de los valores de la gerencia. Los artículos o trabajos propuestos ante la revista Visión Gerencial, deberán ser hechos para la revista o adaptados parap la misma, es decir, que versen sobre temas relativos a los negocios y a la gerencia, ajustados a la clasificación de la ciencia y la tecnología contenida en the DIRECTORATE FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INDUSTRY, como aportes teóricos y empíricos con enfoques locales y/o internacionales. También se recibirán trabajos de áreas afines a las ciencias administrativas: economía, contaduría, estadística, sociología, psicología, informática, filosofía, legales, jurídicas y políticas, matemáticas, etc. Considera las siguientes modalidades de manuscrito: ESTUDIOS EMPÍRICOS Y ESTUDIOS DE CASOS. Hallazgos originales como por ejemplo, resultados de proyectos de investigaciones concluidas, adelantos o avances significativos de investigaciones en proceso que ameriten ser difundidos. Deberá contener información suficiente a fin que los científicos o especialistas del mismo campo puedan evaluar la información, los procesos intelectuales y, según el caso repetir el fenómeno. ENSAYO. Escrito argumentativo e informativo que expone la interpretación personal del autor, producto de su reflexión teórica, persuadiendo con su discurso al lector sobre un punto de vista en la temática. Deberá presentar una descripción y narración de hechos, para finalizar con argumentos o pruebas relevantes a favor de lo defendido. Puede versar sobre problemas coyunturales de abordaje necesario para la comprensión de los mismos o para el esclarecimiento de aspectos relacionados, con óptica analítica, interpretativa o crítica del autor. ARTÍCULO DE REVISIÓN. Escrito producto de una cuidadosa y suficiente revisión documental que comenta, describe, resume, sistematiza, analiza y/o critica la literatura, publicaciones o acontecimientos recientes; con el fin de informar sobre avances o tendencias de interés científico en el área gerencial y afines.
