Valenciana es una revista semestral que publica artículos académicos con planteamientos, debates y reflexiones en torno a la literatura –con especial énfasis en estudios hispanoamericanos– y la filosofía –clásica, moderna y contemporánea–. Es editada y distribuida por la Universidad de Guanajuato, a través de los departamentos de Filosofía y Letras Hispánicas de la División de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades. Valenciana está dirigida a lectoras y lectores especializados, a quienes se dedican a la investigación, y a la comunidad universitaria general, tanto nacional como extranjera, con el objetivo de contribuir a la generación del conocimiento en el ámbito de la filosofía y la literatura. La revista incluye tres secciones: una parte miscelánea, con artículos de investigación de temática diversa; un dossier, con artículos por invitación expresa de una coordinadora o coordinador del número; y reseñas. Todos los materiales recibidos son sometidos a dictamen por dos especialistas anónimos, en sistema doble ciego. El resultado final se notifica a las y los autores en un plazo de noventa días naturales a partir de la fecha de cierre de convocatoria. Cabe aclarar que las interpretaciones y los análisis deben estar fundamentados en un marco teórico y conceptual riguroso. Valenciana cuenta con Cross Reference DOI official registration.
