Transitare, Revista de Turismo y Negocios es una publicación semestral que tiene como propósito difundir los resultados de investigaciones teóricas y empíricas. Son recibidos artículos de las principales áreas de los negocios y con especial énfasis en los temas de turismo, incluyendo, pero no limitado a: Turismo y Patrimonio Cultural. Economía y Finanzas. Contabilidad y Administración. Negocios y Emprendedurismo. Desarrollo y Cultura Organizacional. Business ethics y Responsabilidad Social Empresarial. Mercadotecnia. Políticas de Sección Artículos de investigación Abrir envíos Indizado Evaluado por pares Artículos de revisión Abrir envíos Indizado Evaluado por pares Reporte de casos Abrir envíos Indizado Evaluado por pares Proceso de revisión por pares Evaluación de pertinencia Con el fin de medir la calidad, factibilidad y rigurosidad científica de los artículos recibidos, el Consejo Editorial de Transitare revisa su pertinencia antes de someterlos al sistema de evaluación denominado revisión por pares (peer review) que realizan los expertos. Proceso de arbitraje La revisión por pares consiste en que dos revisores externos leen y analizan los artículos para determinar tanto la validez de las ideas y los resultados así como su posible impacto científico. Se utilizará la variante Doble ciego, en el que se preserva el anonimato del evaluador y del autor. Generalmente sólo se considera válida una publicación cuando ha obtenido la aceptación de ambos árbitros. En caso de controversia, el Consejo Editorial nombrará a un tercer árbitro que tendrá funciones de Adjudicador. Las situaciones distintas a las aquí descritas serán resueltas en primera instancia por el Director de la Revista y/o su Consejo Editorial. Es intención firme de Transitare que los árbitros sean seleccionados entre las personas más competentes de la especialidad del trabajo que se evalúa. Cartas al Editor En el caso de las Cartas al Editor se trata de contribuciones originales en forma de comentarios, réplicas o erratas de artículos ya publicados, además de resultados preliminares de investigaciones que merezcan ser publicados pero que todavía no cubran los requerimientos de amplitud de un artículo en regla. Su extensión ha sido limitada a 5 páginas y la evaluación será por un árbitro, preferentemente del Consejo Editorial con el fin de darle agilidad al proceso de revisión y publicación.
