Transfusion Clinique et Biologique, the official journal of the French-Speaking Society of Blood Transfusion (SFTS):is an aid to training, at a European level,is the only French journal indexed in the hematology and immunology sections of Current Contents. The journal welcomes original articles, reviews, editorials, opinion articles, perspectives, commentaries and letters to the editors. Clinical cases are no longer accepted unless previously discussed with the editor-in-chief. Transfusion Clinique et Biologique is published 4 times a year (supplements can be considered). The main topics covered by the journal are: clinical transfusion, blood donation, hemovigilance, blood component processing, patient blood management, transfusion organization and management, quality management, immunohematology and genetics of blood groups, molecular biology and transfusion transmitted infections, etc. The journal also welcomes cell and tissue collection, processing, quality and safety, therapy and vigilance. Topics outside the main coverage must be previously discussed with the editor-in-chief. Readership is wide, both in terms of scientific and medical specialties and geographic origin. Thus, it is recommended that all contributions consider this type of audience. Contributions should bring novelty to others, in a different medical specialty or in another country.
