La Revista Tradumàtica va néixer l’any 2001 en la confluència de tots els sabers relacionats amb la traducció i les tecnologies. La revista té la vocació de ser un agregador de coneixements experts, més enllà dels enfocaments estrictament tècnics o científics o dels interessos comercials, i aspira a filtrar i decantar la informació per oferir una panoràmica global. La revista compta amb tres seccions. La secció Tradumàtica oberta, que acull tots aquells articles de recerca sobre qualsevol aspecte relacionat amb la investigació en tecnologies de la traducció. La secció Tradumàtica dossier, d’orientació monogràfica, fa de cada número l’equivalent a un manual sobre un tema específic. I la secció Tradumàtica breu, pensada per a una immediata publicació d’articles breus sobre resultats preliminars, plantejament de projectes, apunts metodològics, etc.
