Justificación Con respecto a los desarrollos de Europa y Norteamérica, las disciplinas administrativas y contables en Latinoamérica no tienen una corriente de pensamiento organizacional y de gestión suficientemente visible; no obstante en los últimos años se han realizado numerosas investigaciones acerca de la filosofía de las ciencias económico-administrativas, la evolución de las organizaciones en la región y los factores contextuales que afectan el desarrollo de las mismas, lo cual da lugar a la posibilidad de tener una perspectiva propia y una posición alternativa en estos temas, lo que a su vez hace necesaria la creación de espacios académicos para madurar este enfoque de pensamiento. A pesar de los esfuerzos de algunas instituciones, la conectividad e integración entre los académicos, investigadores y estudiantes de las ciencias de la organización no han surtido los efectos esperados y esto permite inferir que deben explorarse otros mecanismos que dinamicen tal iniciativa. La necesidad de rescatar la figura del Estado como protagonista de la gestión del conocimiento de avanzada, se hace visible en la posibilidad de unir al menos tres universidades públicas de tres países del norte, el centro y el sur de América Latina, con la intención de validar la perspectiva misional de la educación pública, como patrimonio social de los pueblos y garantía de rigor y excelencia académica en la generación de conocimiento interdisciplinario de alto impacto social. De igual manera, este proyecto editorial se esfuerza en impulsar, fortalecer y consolidar las redes académicas que promueven la perspectiva latinoamericana de la investigación en las ciencias sociales económicas y administrativas, como una manera de contribuir a estrechar los lazos de amistad, intercambio y cooperación interinstitucional, difundir los logros de tales esfuerzos y a cultivar la identidad cultural de la academia en la región. En concordancia con estas intenciones, se ha dispuesto un diseño editorial que exalta la cultura de los Pueblos Originarios, la vocación por la sustentabilidad del desarrollo, el apoyo a las comunidades locales y la identidad de los pueblos latinoamericanos. Construir un espacio de socialización y confrontación intelectual para la comunidad académica latinoamericana con el propósito de visibilizar el pensamiento, la teoría y la producción científica en el campo de las organizaciones y sus disciplinas conexas. 2.
