Territorios es una publicación académica semestral, cuyo principal objetivo es difundir el conocimiento especializado sobre temas regionales y urbanos, para así poder enfrentar y estudiar los problemas del desarrollo territorial, mediante la difusión del análisis crítico y de las propuestas alternativas que, en últimas, buscan redefinir la región y el territorio, bajo los cambios estructurales económicos y políticos actuales. Como una publicación especializada, se dirige a Investigadores expertos en las áreas de los Estudios Urbanos, los Estudios Regionales y disciplinas afines. La misión de Territorios es divulgar entre la comunidad académica y profesional los artículos inéditos, relevantes y de alta calidad relacionados con investigaciones en las áreas del conocimiento relacionadas con los Estudios Urbanos, de autores colombianos e internacionales, arbitrados en la modalidad de doble ciego por pares académicos externos de reconocida trayectoria. La revista se encuentra abierta a la recepción de artículos de investigación, reflexión y reseñas bibliográficas originales que contemplen cada uno de los ejes temáticos relacionados con las ciencias sociales interdisciplinarias.
