En la revista Tendencias Sociales. Revista de Sociología y Comunicación tienen cabida trabajos de carácter teórico, empírico o epistemológico, que atiendan a aquellos aspectos fundamentales para la ciudadanía en cuanto a los cambios sociales que se desarrollan y las consecuencias de los mismos. Para ello, cada número contará con las siguientes secciones: - Biografías. La revista publica relatos biográficos de sociólogas, sociólogos o investigadores en ciencias sociales que hayan realizado aportaciones relevantes y que hayan marcado un hito teórico o empírico en el ámbito de la sociología o las ciencias sociales. - Artículos de investigación centrados en temáticas relevantes para la sociología o las ciencias sociales y que tengan un desarrollo teórico y empírico riguroso. - Tribuna sobre investigaciones en curso (discusiones dotadas de rigor científico, sobre proyectos y tesis doctorales en curso) - Recensiones/críticas de libros.
