Políticas de avaliação O artigo submetido à Revista Tempo e Argumento primeiramente passa pela leitura e apreciação da equipe editorial que irá verificar se o mesmo atende os critérios de publicação da Revista, principalmente relacionado ao escopo da linha editorial. Após essa analise inicial o artigo poderá ser devolvido ao autor com observações e/ou sugestões ou diretamente encaminhado para avaliação de dois pareceristas ad hoc (pesquisadores especialistas no tema, vinculados a outras IES nacionais ou internacionais) cujo trabalho consiste em: 1. Verificar a qualidade e pertinência do levantamento bibliográfico e aquele relativo as fontes históricas apresentados no artigo, a clareza dos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos, e a qualidade das reflexões e da mobilização das categorias explicativas e descritivas apresentadas na análise e/ou problema levantado;2. Analisar o aprofundamento do artigo acerca do tema apresentado e o caráter acadêmico da abordagem proposta;3. Elaborar um parecer com seus apontamentos, sugestões (se houver) e conclusão quanto a avaliação do texto.Havendo divergências nas avaliações, o artigo será submetido a um terceiro avaliador para elaboração do parecer final e comunicação ao autor se o texto foi aprovado integralmente, aprovado com revisões requeridas ou rejeitado.OBS: - A revista Tempo e Argumento adota o sistema de revisão por pares duplo-cego. Os revisores desconhecem os nomes ou afiliações dos autores e as avaliações dos revisores são encaminhadas aos autores sem a identificação dos mesmos. - Todos os artigos publicados são verificados quanto a sua originalidade. A verificação usa o software iThenticate para detectar coincidências e semelhanças entre os textos sob avaliação e aquele
