Časopis “Tehnika” je vodeći naučno - stručni časopis iz oblasti tehničkih nauka i struka u Srbiji. Časopis u izdanju Saveza inženjera i tehničara, kontinuirano izlazi 71 godinu i kreira jedinstvenu naučnu i tehničku bazu za razmenu naučnih, tehnickih, komercijalnih i poslovnih informacija, kako na lokalnom tako i na međunarodnom nivou. U skladu sa kategorizacijom Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije, svrstan je među vodeće časopise u svojoj oblasti. U časopisu se objavljuju radovi svrstani po oblastima: Novi materijali; Naše građevinarstvo; Rudarstvo, geologija i metalurgija; Mašinstvo; Elektrotehnika; Saobraćaj; Menadžment; Kvalitet - IMS, standardizacija i metrologija, kao i stalne rubrike: pregledi knjiga i časopisa, prikazi naučnih i stručnih skupova u zemlji i inostranstvu, informacije o tehničkim novostima. Svi objavljeni radovi obavezno prolaze kroz stručnu recenziju Redakcionih odbora u čijem sastavu se nalaze najeminentniji stručnjaci iz navedenih oblasti.
