La revista Tecnura es una publicación institucional de la Facultad Tecnológica de la Universidad Francisco José de Caldas, de carácter científico-tecnológico, con periodicidad trimestral, que se publica los meses de marzo, junio, septiembre y diciembre. Su primer número apareció en el segundo semestre del año 1997. Está dirigida a profesores, investigadores, estudiantes de posgrado y profesionales interesados en la actualización permanente de sus conocimientos y el seguimiento de los procesos de investigación científico-tecnológica enfocadas en el avance y desarrollo tecnológico dentro del campo de la ingeniería aplicado a la sociedad y la cultura. La revista tiene como misión divulgar resultados de investigación a través de artículos de investigación científica y tecnológica que deben ser originales e inéditos, escritos en español o inglés. También publicamos revisiones sistemáticas (evaluadas estrictamente por el comité editorial) y, excepcionalmente, algunos artículos de reflexión destacados. En consecuencia, durante la fase inicial de evaluación editorial se rechazarán los artículos cortos, reportes de caso y artículos que no cumplan con las temáticas de la revista.
