Abstracts in the author(s)’ home language(s) are preferable (if possible) if they are not in the main language of the article. The journal publishes original research in applied linguistics, sociolinguistics and education sciences, exploring multilingualism at the intersection of macro-level language policies, maintenance of linguistic rights, language ecology, preservation of minority and less widely taught languages, with the micro-level practices in plurilingual didactics, linguistically sensitive teaching and mediation as well as the acquisition and development of plurilingual competence. Particular attention is given to contemporary developments in multilingualism research, including language practices and repertoires across diverse social, educational, and institutional contexts, questions of inclusion and linguistic equity, and the dynamic relationship between language policies, linguistic diversity, and everyday communicative practices. The journal welcomes methodological plurality and an interdisciplinary approach across qualitative, quantitative, ethnographic, corpus-based, and participatory research design.Publication FrequencyArticles in this journal are published twice a year: June and December issues.
