Миссия журнала состоит в публикации и распространении результатов оригинальных современных исследований, связанных со статистическими исследованиями и применением математических методов для анализа и прогнозирования экономических, социальных и демографических явлений и процессов, обобщенное изложение результатов проведенных автором исследований. Цель журнала - создание специализированной площадки для публикации материалов по актуальным проблемам статистики, математических методов в экономике, результатов исследований ученых вузов, академических институтов, исследователей-практиков. Главными задачами журнала «Статистика и Экономика» являются: - представление и популяризация научно-исследовательских достижений в области статистики и экономики как отраслей науки, - освещения сферы практической статистической деятельности; - популяризация статистики и повышение статистической грамотности среди различных групп читателей.
