A revista SOLETRAS é um periódico eletrônico do Programa de Pós-graduação em Letras e Linguística (PPLIN), vinculada ao Departamento de Letras (DEL), da Faculdade de Formação de Professores da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FFP/UERJ). Com periodicidade quadrimestral, de acesso livre e gratuito, a revista busca incentivar o debate científico nas diversas áreas de conhecimento do programa, além de difundir os resultados de trabalhos inéditos desenvolvidos de professores e pesquisadores vinculados a instituições de ensino e pesquisa nacionais ou internacionais, bem como da comunidade científica em geral. Os números são organizados com base no dossiê, com edições que intercalam Estudos Literários e Estudos Linguísticos. Só serão aceitos trabalhos submetidos por pesquisadores doutores, ou, em caso de coautoria, de doutorandos, em parceria com um segundo pesquisador que possua o título de doutor.
