A publicação Serviço Social & Saúde é um periódico especializado, aberto à contribuições da comunidade científica nacional e internacional, arbitrado e distribuído a leitores do Brasil e de vários outros países. Os trabalhos submetidos são avaliados por pelo menos dois revisores pertencentes ao quadro de colaboradores da Revista em procedimento sigiloso quanto à identidade tanto do(s) autor(es) quanto dos revisores. Os autores são responsáveis pelas informações contidas nos trabalhos, bem como pela devida permissão ao uso de figuras ou tabelas publicadas em outras fontes. Consiste numa publicação semestral dos assistentes sociais integrantes dos serviços da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), publicada ininterruptamente desde 2002, que tem como proposta constituir um espaço de diálogo sobre temas relacionados ao Serviço Social na Saúde, às Políticas Sociais e à Sociedade em geral. A revista tem versão impressa e digital, sendo integrante do Sistema Eletrônico de Editoração de Revistas, o OJS. Assim sendo, adota a política de acesso livre e imediato de seu conteúdo, em formato PDF, seguindo o princípio de que o conhecimento científico disponibilizado de forma gratuita contribui para a democratização do conhecimento. Serviço Social & Saúde é uma publicação dos assistentes sociais integrantes dos serviços da Universidade Estadual de Campinas, e tem como proposta constituir um espaço de contextualização de assuntos e temas relacionados ao Serviço Social na Saúde e a sociedade em geral.
