Foco e Escopo A Seqüência Estudos Jurídicos e Políticos, do Curso de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu em Direito da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, publica artigos e relatórios de pesquisas, inéditos, escritos por docentes, discentes e pesquisadores ligados a cursos de pós-graduação em Direito na área da Teoria Crítica do Direito, enfatizando o constitucionalismo contemporâneo e seus reflexos nas seguintes áreas do Direito: Direito, Estado e Sociedade; Teoria e História do Direito; Direito das Relações Internacionais. Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares Os artigos passam por uma seleção prévia feita pela Equipe Editorial, a fim de verificar sua adequação as normas e à linha editorial da Revista. Logo após, são enviados para dois pareceristas anônimos para análise qualitativa de sua forma e conteúdo, de acordo com o processo "DOUBLE BLIND PEER REVIEW". O prazo para elaborar a avaliação é de 14 dias. Quando a avaliação é recebida, ela será enviada ao autor do artigo, para dar conhecimento de seu conteúdo e, se for o caso, para serem feitas as modificações sugeridas. O prazo médio entre a submissão do trabalho e sua publicacão é de 06 a 12 meses. Periodicidade A partir de 2021, a Seqüência Estudos Jurídicos e Políticos passa a ter seus artigos publicados por meio do sistema de publicação contínua (modalidade Aread of Print – AOP).
