Издание журнала «Сельскохозяйственные машины и технологии» способствует развитию отечественной и зарубежной сельскохозяйственной техники, открывает перспективу внедрения новейших машин и технологий. Широкий круг читателей все более активно вовлекается в обсуждение и решение актуальных проблем отечественного и мирового сельского хозяйства. В журнале публикуются оригинальные статьи, результаты фундаментальных исследований, направленные на изучение машин и оборудования для механизации производственных процессов в агробизнесе. Научная концепция издания предполагает публикацию современных научных достижений в области механизации, электрификации и автоматизации сельского хозяйства. В журнале освещаются результаты исследований и разработки машинных технологий, технологических процессов, комплексов технических средств и оборудования. Освещаемые в журнале результаты фундаментальных научных исследований способствуют обеспечению научно-технического прогресса в области механизации, автоматизации, компьютеризации технологических процессов растениеводства и животноводства для повышения интенсивности и устойчивости производства конкурентоспособной и экологически безопасной сельскохозяйственной продукции. Полезными для читателя являются также материалы по сравнительному анализу работы отечественной и зарубежной техники применительно к современным технологиям и условиям различных регионов страны, что позволяет сельхозпроизводителю сделать обоснованный подбор машин и оборудования для выполнения различных технологических операций при производстве сельхозпродукции.
