The purpose of the journal is to provide a platform for scientific peer-reviewed publications in dentistry and related fields. It disseminates news pertinent to the members of the South African Dental Association. It further features current concepts and teaching in clinical dentistry, news in the field of dentistry, evidence based dental healthcare, original scientific research and developments in the oral and health environment. The South African Dental Journal (SADJ) is the only scientific Dept. of Higher Education and Training (DHET) accredited dental journal published in South Africa.
