La Revista UNIMAR es una revista científica de acceso abierto del campo de las Ciencias Sociales y el área de la Educación, con énfasis en pedagogía. Publica artículos originales de investigación, reflexión y revisión en cualquiera de los siguientes idiomas: español, inglés y portugués, dirigidos a la comunidad científica de estas áreas. Es editada por la Editorial Unimar de la Universidad Mariana (Colombia). A partir del año 2026, se adopta el modelo de publicación continua, con el propósito de optimizar los tiempos de visibilidad, circulación y uso del conocimiento científico; es decir, los artículos se publican de manera individual una vez han superado satisfactoriamente las distintas etapas del proceso editorial y de evaluación por pares. No obstante, se mantendrán dos cortes semestrales con fines de cierre editorial, organización y conformación formal de los números de la revista. La Revista UNIMAR no aplica cargos por procesamiento de artículos (APC) ni por las etapas de envío, evaluación, edición o publicación de manuscritos. La totalidad de los costos asociados al proceso editorial es asumida por la entidad editora, en coherencia con los principios de acceso abierto, ética editorial, transparencia y buenas prácticas internacionales en la comunicación científica.
