Fundada en 1975 por Ezequiel de Olaso, la Revista Latinoamericana de Filosofía es una publicación de acceso abierto con referato ciego de pares externos que recibe contribuciones en cualquier área de la filosofía. Abierta a todas las corrientes, ideas y tendencias filosóficas, la revista aspira a que en ella colaboren todos aquellos estudiosos que quieran exponer ante sus colegas y el público en general el resultado de sus investigaciones. En sus más de cuarenta años de vida, la RLF se ha propuesto ofrecer un espacio para la publicación y difusión del trabajo en el área de la filosofía que se realiza no sólo en Argentina, sino también en Latinoamérica y en el resto del mundo, dirigiéndose así a miembros de la comunidad filosófica nacional e internacional. Su objetivo principal es fomentar el diálogo y el intercambio de producciones en el campo de las investigaciones filosóficas, sean referidas a la actualidad o a la historia de la disciplina. La RLF recibe trabajos de todas las orientaciones en la medida en que sean originales, representen avances en el conocimiento de los temas abordados y enriquezcan el debate filosófico. La RLF publica artículos, notas, estudios críticos y discusiones. Además, comprende una sección permanente de reseñas y, de manera ocasional, se diseñan dossiers temáticos que no interrumpen la periodicidad de la publicación.
