El Grupo de Investigación y Editorial KAVILANDO, está convencido de la existencia de pensamiento político, económico, jurídico, filosófico, científico, y cultural, propio en América Latina, para ello se tiene un Enfoque y alcance, con el objetivo de la revista es generar debate en torno a nuestra realidad social; una realidad marcada por la exclusión, por las estructuras que empobrecen al grueso de la población, por la indiferencia, por el saqueo de nuestras riquezas, por la eliminación sistemática, física o moral de toda forma de expresión diferente a la oficial. Todos, temas que nos lleven a reflexionar y a generar acciones que fortalezcan la capacidad organizativa y de resistencia para que con criterio, sustento y caminos claros, logremos construir un mundo mejor, más humano y justo. La apuesta de la Grupo de Investigación y Editorial Kavilando está dirigida a mantener una política de conocimiento abierto, por ello nos adherimos a la declaración conjunta de la Red de Revistas Científicas de América Latina y el Caribe, España y Portugal (Redalyc), el Sistema Regional de Información en Línea para Revistas Científicas de América Latina, el Caribe, España y Portugal (Latindex) y el Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales (CLACSO), sobre el uso de la licencia de licencia Atribución-NoComercial-SinDerivadas 4.0 Internacional (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
