Breve Histórico A Revista Katálysis, criada em 1997 e publicada ininterruptamente desde então, é editada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social e pelo Curso de Graduação em Serviço Social da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Possui classificação A1 pelo Qualis/Capes. Tem como objetivo publicar produções científicas relevantes ao Serviço Social e temáticas de áreas afins que abarquem o ensino, pesquisa e extensão e do exercício profissional. Por meio de artigos científicos originais, busca contemplar temas das ciências humanas e sociais, das ciências sociais aplicadas e das suas relações com os demais campos do saber. A Revista é um periódico arbitrado, indexado, de circulação nacional e internacional. Conformidade com a Ciência Aberta O movimento Ciência Aberta propõe diretrizes para a prática científica colaborativa, compartilhada e pública. Em consonância com as diretrizes de Ciência Aberta, a Revista Katálysis adota a política de acesso livre, o código de boas práticas para editores e o uso de redes sociais para divulgação de trabalhos publicados. Requer a indicação precisa do papel de cada um dos autores em artigos com múltipla autoria, incentiva o compartilhamento dos conjuntos de dados de análise, instrumentos, scripts de análise estatística, roteiros e materiais adicionais, disponibilizados em repositórios online abertos, como, por exemplo, Zenodo, Figshare e OSF, caso não possam ser publicados no próprio trabalho, sendo esta informação indicada no próprio manuscrito. Em consequência, os artigos que comunicam pesquisas deverão indicar e referenciar a disponibilidade dos conteúdos subjacentes à elaboração da pesquisa e dos resultados obtidos. Também em sintonia com as práticas da ciência aberta, o periódico oferece a autores e pareceristas opções de abertura do processo de avaliação por pares, com ou sem identificação dos seus nomes. A autorização para divulgação do nome poderá ser dada pelos autores no momento de submissão do manuscrito e pelos avaliadores no preenchimento do Formulário sobre Conformidade com a Ciência Aberta. Em caso de publicação das avaliações que fundamentaram a decisão de publicação do manuscrito, elas poderão ser editadas pelo corpo editorial da revista. A contribuição dos editores de seção é devidamente creditada no artigo publicado.
