La Revista Internacional de Lenguas Extranjeras (RILE) es una publicación electrónica de acceso libre que tiene como principal objetivo difundir las investigaciones en el ámbito de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras, en un sentido teórico y práctico. De este modo, se pretende crear un espacio internacional de diálogo y debate entre investigadores y profesionales para enriquecer el ámbito mencionado. Se dirige a un público especializado, ya que además de contribuir al conocimiento lingüístico se pretende enriquecer el debate crítico entre investigadores, con especial énfasis en las aportaciones teóricas metodológicas y el trabajo práctico. Por ello, no tienen cabida los artículos de simple divulgación, ni los que se limitan a exponer opiniones en lugar de conclusiones derivadas de una investigación contrastada. RILE solo publicará trabajos originales que posean la específica unidad interna que caracteriza a los artículos de una publicación científica. La revista no cobra cargos a las personas autoras ni por procesamiento (APC), ni por la publicación de artículos. La revista constará de las secciones siguientes: Artículos: originales, preferentemente sobre la investigación y experiencia de expertos en el ámbito de la Lingüística Aplicada a la enseñanza y aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras, así como también originales sobre la investigación que lleven a cabo doctorandos. Notas de libros (Reseñas): lecturas reflexivas de obras publicadas recientemente sobre Lingüística Aplicada al ámbito de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras (no más de tres años de antigüedad).
