La Revista Internacional de Culturas y Literaturas (RICL) tiene una periodicidad semestral, y se centra en la publicación de artículos y trabajos de calidad relacionados con el ámbito de la filología, los estudios culturales y los estudios de género. RICL publica tanto artículos como reseñas bibliográficas en español, inglés, francés e italiano. Los trabajos presentados a la revista deben ser originales e inéditos, por lo que no deberán haberse publicado previamente ni tampoco encontrarse en proceso de revisión o edición en ningún otro lugar. Los objetivos de RICL son: Contribuir a la difusión de los estudios de género desde un punto de vista internacional e interdisciplinar. Se da particular importancia a las teorías y conceptualizaciones que provienen de culturas periféricas y de voces disidentes en la cultura. Dar a conocer a escritoras de diferentes lenguas y literaturas, sus vidas y sus obras. Promover análisis críticos utilizando las herramientas y conceptos de los estudios de género/feministas en cualquier campo de la literatura o de la cultura desde una perspectiva internacional y multilingüística. Visibilizar a las mujeres y sus aportaciones en todos los campos artísticos y culturales. La revista se dirige a la comunidad universitaria internacional, especialmente a investigadoras e investigadores del área de los estudios culturales y los estudios de género.
