La Revista Facultad de Ingeniería es una publicación realizada por la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Antioquia que inició su circulación en 1984. El principal objetivo de la Revista es promover y estimular la publicación de resultados de investigación de la comunidad científica, nacional e internacional. La revista publica artículos de estado del arte, artículos originales derivados de los resultados de investigaciones científicas y estudios experimentales o de simulación en ciencias de la ingeniería, tecnología y disciplinas afines (Electrónica, Telecomunicaciones, Bioingeniería, Biotecnología, Eléctrica, Sistemas, Mecánica, Química, Materiales, Ambiental, Sanitaria, Civil e Industrial). En casos excepcionales, la revista publicará artículos de reflexión relacionados con un tema de actualidad e importancia vigente, o artículos de revisión que constituyan un aporte realmente significativo y nuevo en la contextualización del estado del arte en un tema de relevancia reconocida. Solo se publicarán reportes de caso cuando estos correspondan a estudios en los que se esté probando por primera vez la validez de una metodología o cuando se pueda evidenciar un aporte significativo al conocimiento de un sistema no explorado. Todos los artículos publicados han sido objeto de evaluación por pares o árbitros, destacados por su conocimiento y aportes en el tema. La Revista acepta la publicación de artículos solo en idioma inglés. La Revista Facultad de Ingeniería –redin- Universidad de Antioquia cuenta con DOI para los artículos publicados. Tiene implementada como política de archivo digital su membresía en CLOCKSS Archives, el cual a su vez hace parte del Centro Internacional ISSN para la preservación de contenidos de revistas científicas.
