La revista Lámpsakos es una publicación digital, arbitrada por pares, de convocatoria permanente, adscrita a la Facultad de Ingenierías y Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó, Medellín, Colombia. Tiene por objetivo divulgar artículos originales e inéditos relacionados con la investigación científica y tecnológica de las áreas de ingenierías. Fundada en 2009, la revista tiene una periodicidad seriada y continua comprendiendo los meses enero-junio y julio-diciembre (cada artículo será publicado, tan pronto termine su proceso editorial, el cual se maneja de manera independiente); el alcance es nacional e internacional, con circulación en línea de libre acceso, regida por estándares de rigor científico y de calidad editorial. Lámpsakos, es de acceso abierto financiada por la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó, quien se ocupa de todos los costos de edición, publicación y divulgación. Por lo tanto, no genera ningún cobro a sus colaboradores (autores, lectores, revisores, bibliotecarios, etc); ni genera ninguna retribución económica ni a los autores, ni a los miembros de los comités. Las decisiones y procedimientos se rigen por criterios de calidad académica, excelencia investigativa, integridad, honestidad y transparencia, por lo que se adhiere a los principios del Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE). La revista se rige según los criterios emitidos por la jurisprudencia colombiana, en paralelo, con estipulado sobre los derechos de autor y los afines con la sociedad de la información. La publicación, además, se enmarca en las normas de calidad de diversos sistemas de indexación y resumen. El código de conducta, tanto la guía para autores, deben ser adoptadas por cualquier actor que se vincule a la revista, en proporciona al rol que ejerza. Los temas tratados en la revista se dirigen a todas las personas de los espacios académicos, investigativos, científicos y profesionales de los diferentes sectores educativos, productivos y empresariales que desarrollan sus actividades en torno a la ingeniería. Los trabajos que publica corresponden a aspectos de desarrollo científico, profesional y tecnológico en todas las áreas y disciplinas de la ingeniería. La revista acepta para su revisión y publicación artículos escritos en español, inglés y portugués.
